My family originates from Longparish in Hampshire. George Brackstone born in 1852 moved to Hampstead in North London and died in 1908. My father was born in Holborn West London 1907 and I was born Islington North London 1939. I have lived in Harlow, Essex since 1966.
Hobbies: Amateur Radio, my call sign is M0NRY, I also hold the call signs G7UFF and M3LEN. I also enjoy Computing, Gardening, Birds and Formula One racing.
Education: I went to various schools, mainly in North London. My final school was Daniel Defoe, Stoke Newington where I finished 1954.
Work: I mainly worked as a Lorry Driver and a Taxi Driver.
Military Service: 3 Years RASC stationed Herford, Germany. From 1957 to 1960.
My Family: Wife Margot, born 1938 East Prussia. 4 children Susanna, Tina, Richard and Darren and 13 grandchildren, with 4 great grandchildren.
